My husband and I hired Prosser Painting and Construction for two projects: 1) Rebuilding and re-siding the external chimney wall and replacing the covering to avoid water getting into the chimney and creating mold issues. For this project, I would give them five stars. The project was done extremely well, at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. Glenn knows construction and was able to quickly assess what was needed and not waste time or materials. We were so pleased, that we hired them for project 2) indoor and outdoor painting and this is the job that I was not too happy with. The bid was very economical.

Glen Prosser and his team went above and beyond to ensure a result that exceeded our expectations as home owners. Glen offered me a bid that was well below what his competitors were presenting for our project. Our project was extensive - we had over 1000 square feet of paneling that needed to be removed and replaced with drywall. Kirk, who works for Glen, was superb and very conscientious - he oversaw all the work done, making sure that there were consistent and high quality results throughout the house. I was especially impressed by Kirk's willingness to work with our situation - we have three small children and it was not always possible to move furniture when he needed it moved. However, Kirk took it upon himself to help out and went above the call of duty to move our furniture and work within our needs. In the end, we are very happy with the end result. I had originally picked a very bright gold paint, but after it had been applied, I realized that it wasn't what I wanted. Glen helped me to pick a more classic paint that suited our walls better and didn't even charge for the painting they did prior. Glen was very patient, reliable, and made me feel confident throughout the whole process that a quality end would be reached. I am so happy - we got exceptional workmanship for an affordable price. I would recommend Prosser Painting to anyone!

I had Glenn work on a garage conversion for our home, where we created more living space. I solicited bids from several contractors and I chose Glenn's business after personally speaking with him about our plans -- other contractors were either more interested in their own ideas, didn't listen enough to what I was asking or were prohibitively expensive. Glenn listened to what I envisioned, offered suggestions and importantly and gave me a straight forward estimate of the work needed. I can't say enough about that, as several contractors provided so many caveats during the estimate walkthrough that I had no confidence in the original bid price being met. I felt Glenn's fee was very reasonable (he was not the lowest price estimate, but was certainly not the highest) and he came in within 5% of the original proposal (even when we found some unexpected issues that required workarounds). The quality of the work was great and he worked with our schedule. I really appreciate that he used excellent sub contractors when necessary -- an example is the wood floor I had installed. It needed to match the existing floor in the adjacent connecting rooms and Glenn got the best people to do that work -- I was completely happy with the results!

Glenn Prosser and his team have remodeled our basement into a beautiful space and painted our entire exterior. Prior to hiring Glenn, we had other contractors and their work is not nearly as good as Glenn's. Part of why we hire Glenn is that he honors his word and his team has been with him for years, so it is not a rotating crew of people. Our basement is now gorgeous and Glenn went above and beyond in helping find us better wood floors than what we had originally chosen. He was careful to make sure there wouldn't be any "dampness" issues in our basement. He wants to make sure their work will last a long time. He also took a lot of time in guiding us in our paint color selection and was meticulous with the finishing details. We will return to Glenn Prosser and his team for any future work we do. Highly recommended.

We hired Glenn Prosser on the recommendation of our real estate agent. We had to have a rotting deck torn down and replaced as a condition of sale on our home. The team was very fast in getting the project done in time for escrow to close which we really appreciated. The guys were conscientious and efficient. The price was really good. The neighbor across the street had an estimate for a much smaller deck and was quoted about $6K more than we paid for this job.
